1.Acceptance of terms
By installing or using TipDivide, you agree to these Terms of Use and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2.The service
TipDivide is a tip calculator and bill splitter. It lets you enter a bill, calculate a tip with any value — bill, tip percentage, tip amount, or final total — leading the calculation, split the result with Equal Split or Custom Split, account for a pre-tax tip basis or an existing service charge, and share a summary of the result.
3.Disclaimer
TipDivide is a calculation convenience tool. It does not provide tax, accounting, or legal advice, and the developer is not responsible for errors in a bill, tip, service charge, or split — always double-check the final amounts before paying or settling with others.
4.Ads and future purchases
TipDivide is currently free to use, supported by ads. There are no in-app purchases, paid plans, or subscriptions today, and no payment information is collected. If a paid plan is introduced in the future, these Terms will be updated beforehand to describe it.
5.Accounts and cloud sync
TipDivide does not require you to create an account or sign in. The app works entirely on your device, and there is currently no cloud sync between devices. If accounts or cloud sync are introduced in the future, these Terms and the Privacy Policy will be updated to describe them.
6.Your data
The bill preferences, split history, and other content you create in TipDivide are yours. They are stored locally on your device only, as detailed in the Privacy Policy — uninstalling the app or clearing its data permanently deletes them, since there is currently no backup or cloud copy.
7.Intellectual property
The TipDivide name, its brand, design, and source code belong to the developer. You receive a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the app under these terms — copying, modifying, reverse-engineering, or redistributing the app is not permitted.
8."As is" and limitation of liability
TipDivide is provided "as is," with no guarantee that it will be free of errors or interruptions. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for indirect damages, data loss, or losses arising from use or inability to use the app.
9.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes will be submitted to the jurisdiction of the developer's domicile, unless applicable law provides otherwise.
10.Changes and termination
We may update these terms periodically; the effective date at the top of this page always reflects the most recent version. You may stop using TipDivide at any time by uninstalling the app.
